SKA FRIDAY #8 Pezz (now Billy Talent) - M&M
I’ve been a big fan of Canada’s Green Day, Billy Talent, since high school, but I didn’t know they released their first album under the name Pezz until last year. And their freshman debut, Watoosh!, is a fucking doozy. Billy Talent has always fascinated me with their style, a very punk influenced alternative rock and a vocalist who sounds like Mandark from Dexter’s Laboratory doing a bad impression of Joe Strummer, but their old stuff is almost bizarre.
M&M is the most ska song on the album. I also recommend that you check out the manic love song, Nita, if you can. I’m positive you can. If you can’t, you should probably get off the internet.
